Icarus Interstellar is a registered Nonprofit Corporation (Alaska Entity #133623) with 501(c)(3) charitable status.
Why do we need your help?
Our Long Term Plan is to Build a Starship. This starts with Research and Experimentation, progresses through Implementation Planning and Development where we arrive at a monumental Engineering Effort to Build the Icarus.
This is The Greatest Human Accomplishment.
Funding enables Icarus Designers to meet in person more frequently, and to bring stronger contingents to present at major conferences. Conferences and workshops always seem to bring out the best in our team, producing a wealth of papers and presentations to move the project forward. Our team is distributed internationally though, so travel costs are a big hurdle. Getting the team together on a more frequent basis will pay immediate dividends in terms of team productivity and research output.
