WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

Icarus represents an open access society physicists, engineers, architects, artists, thinkers, hackers, makers, gamers, game designers and programmers from around the world.

We have been working together since  September 2009, contributing our skills, knowledge and excitement for the common goal of advancing interstellar spaceflight.

The long hours are gladly contributed; our reward is the pleasure of discovery. Our operations are subsidized exclusively by sweat equity, dedication and welcome donor contributions.

Icarus Interstellar is a nonprofit corporation that is exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is eligible to receive tax deductible charitable contributions under section 170 of the Code. If you have received no goods or services in exchange for your contribution, the full amount of your contribution is deductible as a charitable contribution to the maximum extent permitted by law.
